Today was Kylie's first podcast interview and she knocked it out of the park! Kylie has nearly 14 years in the learning and development realm primarily in the hospitality industry with more recent experience in the health care industry. Kylie's interest in developing talent stems from a BS in Kinesiology and course work in Physical Education. Realizing there was a need for her critical thinking and passion for developing people and teams as she was working in the restaurant industry through college, Kylie changed gears from the health world and took an opportunity with Hooters of America. Kylie implemented and supported several learning and development programs, she played a key role in program strategy to include leadership development. Kylie desires to see people grow in whatever role in the organization they are in and believes that when we invest in people we create organic buy in and reach results.

E77 | Angelo Sisco: CrossFit Controversy
Monday Apr 06, 2020
Monday Apr 06, 2020
Hey everyone! Welcome back to another edition of the podcast. Before we get into today’s episode, I just wanted to remind everyone that a lot of these episodes were recorded before the COVID-19 outbreak. I wanted to let you know this to eliminate any confusion you may have based on the context of our conversations. Please have this perspective when listening. Thank you!
Today, I am honored to be joined Angelo Sisco. Angelo is a phenomenal human being and I think after listening to today’s episode, you are going to love him.
Angelo is the owner of O’Hare Crossfit in Chicago, IL. Towards the start of his fitness journey, Angelo dedicated himself to losing weight. He went on to lose 100 lbs in 7 months with CrossFit and proper nutrition. During this time, he found a passion for motivating others to pursue their fitness goals, and aspired to become a trainer. He quickly found that the environment of the hard-sell and peddling supplements was not the approach he wanted to take, but instead, wanted to provide a valuable, sustainable service — in the same way that he worked toward his personal fitness goals. Fast forward, and today he is proud to call O’Hare CrossFit his home.

Within this we share podcast reflections. We share new episodes, and most importantly, we get Q&A and feedback from you guys because we want to put out episodes that you want to hear so you know you're encouraged to share your thoughts, ideas for future episodes and all those things. The only time we'll turn you down is if we've already done an episode on that topic, because sometimes as a reality that that can just happen.
We want to hear from you!
Today's episode is going to be one of the shortest episodes we have ever done, but if I do it right, hopefully, it will be the most impactful. What is keeping you from doing what you want to do? Whether you have a great idea, a personal or professional mission that brings value, what is it that is keeping you from moving forward? I recorded this episode to give you some key tactical points to able to help you effectively overcome these common sticking points.
